Famitsu et Enterbrain ont dévoilé leur traditionnel top 100 jeux du premier semestre au Japon. Si c’est Capcom, avec un énième Monster Hunter, qui occupe la première place, huit des dix premières positions sont occupées par des jeux Nintendo. L’autre "intrus" est Metal Gear Solid 4.

Seul jeu Xbox 360 du top 100 (!), Idolmaster Live for You!, de Bandaï/Namco, semble bien seul pour tirer la console vers le haut. On ne s’étonnera donc pas que les ventes hardware ne soient guère plus réjouissantes pour Microsoft, qui pourra néanmoins se consoler en se disant que la 360, mine de rien, fait beaucoup mieux que la première Xbox et attend toujours quelques jeux capables de relancer (un minimum du moins)l’intérêt du public japonais.

Le marché nippon se montre de toute façon toujours hermétique aux machines nouvelle génération. La PS3, malgré ses 500.000 ventes, est loin derrière le trio de tête constitué d’une PSP revigorée, d’une DS moins stratosphérique mais toujours valeur sûre et d’une Wii qui compte déjà un parc de 6,3 millions d’unités (pour ceux qui en douteraient, le top hardware se situe juste en dessous de l’interminable top 100).
